Oh! What is this you say? An update! A blog post! A full wedding! Yes! Why yes it is! I feel like I deserve a cookie or something for actually being able to cross this “October 2018 goal” off on my bullet journal. Oops. Seriously though, I realized that the last time I actually posted anything here was over a year ago! Yikes! So I thought it would be fun to share this Pitot House Wedding I photographed in New Orleans with you all! Dark af outdoor wedding venues are no match for my super fancy wedding photographer skills.
Anyway, Lauren, Greg and I met for coffee before they hired me to photograph their wedding and we talked for actual ever. I adored them and I was SO excited when they wanted me to be their photographer! I was even MORE excited because they were getting married and having their wedding at the Pitot House in New Orleans. I’ve been wanting to photograph a wedding there forever, mostly because I wanted to do bride and groom photographs down by the water in Bayou St. John. I’ve photographed so many engagement sessions out there and the light is always SO pretty. And we know I love light.
Also, side note, Lauren and Greg’s florist came in all the way from Atlanta! I’m a huge sucker for flowers and the magical fall bridal bouquet that Amanda Jewel Floral + Design cooked up is enough to make the girl that can’t grow straw flowers (me, by the way) giggle with delight. Those earrings Lauren is wearing came from Temple of the Sun and I want to buy everything on their website. Anyway, enjoy some pretty photos!
