If you’ve followed my blog and Instagram over the years I’m sure you’ve seen how much I LOVE table settings and DIY decorations. This Thanksgiving was no exception!! It took me a little bit to decide on colors for this years Thanksgiving table, but when it finally came to me I was beyond excited! It all started back in early November when my boyfriend and I were at an antique market in Atlanta. We came across some of the most beautiful china I’d ever seen. A full 12 person place setting, complete with a coffee pot, coffee cups and saucers, and serving dishes! 90 pieces in total! The pattern is Idyll Gold, by Rosenthal and designed by Bjorn Wiinblad… one of my favorite mid century designers! I was shocked at how inexpensive the set was, so we bought it :) I’m so happy I did!
Anyway, the lace is from my table display when I did The Not wedding. I don’t have a formal dining room, so I used my barn door desk as a dining table. I bought the green napkins at World Market… they literally have EVERY color napkin you could imagine! And their prices are super reasonable :D The little deer ornament favors were from Target. The gold flatware was purchased on eBay. Again, a 12 person place setting for $40! The copper and white drinking glasses came from the Nashville Flea market this summer (I also have the matching pitcher) and I bought the little wine glasses at Anthropologie last winter.. I’m pretty sure most of the candles came from World Market. I made the napkin rings with some sparkly yarn and a few little forest like pieces from Michaels <3 I love that store! I basically call it a second home over the holidays. I spray painted a jar and a couple cans copper, and added pine needles from my yard, spray roses, and some gold glitter branches I had.
Anyway, here are a few pictures :) I only took close ups because I was trying to hide my messy office hahaha :) I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!
