Being right smack dab in the middle of a crazy fall wedding season here in New Orleans, it’s hard to find the time to share some of the amazing weddings I’ve been lucky enough to document recently. However, the second I got the film scans back from Cherie and Sam’s Rosy’s Jazz Hall Wedding, I just knew that I had to share them with you guys! Cherie and Sam are not only amazing musicians (you guys may remember their super cute Bywater engagement session at Crescent Park!), but two of the sweetest and most genuine people I’ve ever met. I just knew that their wedding was going to be one heck of a party from the second I photographed their engagement session.  Also, seriously, everything about Cherie’s rad, retro wedding style made my heart explode with joy every time I clicked the shutter on my film camera. Destiny (of the fab Poppy and Mint in New Orleans) worked her magic and created some pretty epic floral designs that perfectly matched the vibe of their wedding. All in all, it was one heck of a party and I was so glad that I got to be a part of it!

Anyway, here are a few of my favorite photographs. All of them were shot on Kodak film and scanned with the Fuji Frontier scanner by The Find Lab in Utah for those who are interested! Normally I’m a sucker for the Noritsu/Kodak combination, but I felt that the Frontier scanner would be better match for all of the pretty bold colors!
