Weddings
I'm a New Orleans based wedding photographer that specializes in fine art wedding photography. I also photograph weddings in Buffalo, Upstate New York with no additional travel fees. I have a deeply rooted love for film and all things nostalgic and retro. I use high quality full frame digital cameras with vintage lenses to produce a look that is unlike anything else in the industry. In addition to digital, I use a wide variety of of film cameras. My camera bag contains everything from high quality Leica equipment to plastic $25 Holgas and old school Polaroid cameras. I became a wedding photographer because I love to photograph people so much. Catching a persons smile or glance from across the room when they don't notice that I'm hiding behind a door frame is the most wonderful feeling in the world. Even though I'm more of a wedding photojournalist, I also know how to get my couples to give me a sincere laugh and make them feel completely comfortable around a camera. I know how hard it is to get your picture taken without feeling silly, so I do my best to make sure that everyone I photograph has fun! I am a member of the Wedding Photojournalists Association and I travel all over the country to capture true love on film (and memory cards!).
About Me
I’m a 26 year old girl that is obsessed with post-it notes and font webstes. My favorite places on earth are the Recoletta Cemetery in Buenos Aires, Coney Island in New York, and night time Mardi Gras parades in New Orleans. I use way too many smiley faces in my professional emails, drink coffee when I should be going to sleep, and am super proud of my special edition Zelda Nintento DS. I love film photography, toy cameras, and am obsessed with dusty antique stores. I love the beach and sunshine, but would rather hunt for sea glass in the sand than venture into shark infested waters.
