I have been excited about photographing Lauren and Matt’s wedding ever since they booked me last summer. In the first email I ever got from Lauren she told me that they were having their reception in the swamp section of the Audubon Zoo. I think I squealed when I read that! It gets even better… Lauren made boutonnieres, table arrangements, ring pulls, bouquets, and a zillion and a half other things for their wedding!!! This was the absolute epitome of a beautiful and elegant DIY wedding and I was so honored to be chosen as their photographer
Here is their sneak peek! I can’t wait to show you all of the Polaroids and film photographs I took!!!

Kellee and Mike are two of the coolest people I’ve ever met. They had their wedding at this really, REALLY cool venue in Culver City California called the Marrakesh House. It’s this beautiful eco friendly space with a pool and lights hung up in the courtyard. Their wedding was also my very first Jewish wedding. I was so nervous about it at first, but then I talked to the Rabbi (who is the sweetest person I’ve ever met!) and she explained all of the traditions and customs that they were going to be doing at their wedding. I also fell completely in love with the light in Los Angeles. Anyway, here are the photographs

The first thing that Mandy told me about her and Andy’s wedding was that the little children in the ceremony would be dressed up as lightning bugs. I squealed. Loudly. Their wedding at the Terrell House on Magazine was more beautiful and fun than I could have ever imagined
Mandy and Andy not only have the cutest couple names ever, but they are so full of light they can’t help but make everyone they meet fall in love with them. They are just such happy people and I loved being able to photograph their wedding today

Martini and Adam got married back in early October but I haven’t had a chance to share their wedding with you until now! They got married in the little garden next to the main part of the Beauregard Keyes House in the French quarter and had their reception at Muriel’s. I’m kind of obsessed with the Beauregard Keyes House now by the way. Not only does it have a courtyard, but there is a little garden. Little gardens are right up there in my book with courtyards and white twinkle lights! The gorgeous flowers were done by Nola Flora! Oh and there was a second line too
Enjoy the photos!

I must say, I love it when couples decide to elope in New Orleans
Jeffery and Monique traveled all the way from New York City to elope here and they almost didn’t make it! Their original flight last Tuesday got canceled because of the crazy blizzard that New York had last week… then they couldn’t get here until Saturday! I am really glad that they finally managed to get down here because I had so, so, SO much fun photographing them
Anyway, here is their sneak peek! You can also see a few more pics from their session today on my home page
I decided to change it up a bit and make it more PINK in honor of Valentines day…. which is so my favourite holiday… because I am a total sap… and I love any holiday that involves flowers, hearts, and chocolates!
