Nate and Jess got married yesterday afternoon in City Park at the beautiful Garden Study Center and everything about their wedding was perfect. I felt honored to not only have been their photographer, but to have become their friend as well. I love you guys!

I had never been to San Francisco before this past weekend. So, when Aaron and Melinda emailed me about going to do their engagement pictures, I of course had to go! And oh my, it’s SO beautiful there! I’m crazy in love with the weather and the fantastically cool architecture. But honestly, the best part of my job is the wonderful and fun people that I get to meet and hang out with. Aaron and Melinda (and their doggie!) are AMAZING! We drove all around San Francisco through Russian Hill, The Mission, and down to this tiny little beach by the Marina (where you can see the Golden Gate Bridge!). They were so much fun and got so into the session and had a million amazing ideas for shoots (since I had no idea where anything is). But seriously, I love them and I feel so happy to have meet such fantastically cool people More to come!!
I admit to being a bad blogger. I can’t help it! I’ve been so busy with client meetings, contracts, and shoots I hardly have a second to think about my poor little blog. I promise to be better. And to upload all of the photographs from my Canada trip… Oh! And show you guys pictures of my boyfriends birthday cake (thank you to the FANTASTIC Flour Power in Chalmette… seriously guys, order your wedding cakes from them. They are FANTASTIC!).
Anyway, on to photographs! I LOVE intimate weddings… and I LOVE Erika and Chris! Seriously, they are SO much fun and Erika made me laugh every 10 seconds with her crazy awesomess. They were married in City Park on July 10th and the ceremony was held under one of the beautiful bandstands that they have there. The weather was a little grey, but Erika was so, so much fun and nothing in the entire wourld could bother her fantastic spirit. Oh… and how COOL is her dress!!!! Enjoy the photos
I think I’ve somehow managed to fall in love with Audubon Park. I live so close but I hardly ever venture outside, especially since it’s so hot! Anyway, Lauren and Phil wanted to have their engagement photographs taken by the Tree of Life in New Orleans. I of course was super excited as I LOVE old giant oak trees After we spent some time in the park we then ventured onward towards Magazine Street where we got some super cool photographs by the art store and Bistro Daisy (a cute little restaurant that I’m still dying to try!). I hope you all like the photographs!!! And Lauren and Phil I love you guys!!! Especially for wanting to take pictures with BUBBLES!!
