This post is a little different than a normal post. First of all, I am obsessed with Race and Religious. Utterly obsessed. It’s literally the most beautiful wedding venue in New Orleans, and it’s totally the kind of place that was meant to be photographed on film. Which is where this post is going I haven’t finished editing digital photographs from Kara and James’s wedding yet, but I got the film ones back today and I had to blog them. There are a couple shots from my Holga (the square ones) and the rest were shot on my Pentax ME Super or my Leica RE using a 50/2.0 lens (on both!). I used Kodak Portra 400 and 800 film (I think I pushed the 800 a stop or two) and Kodak TMAX 400 (pushed to 800 I think!). I also think some of the end shots were taken Kodak 3200, but it may have been Ilford Delta 3200. I can’t remember!! Anyway, photographs like this are the reason I love film photography so much. In all honesty I wish I could shoot 100% of my weddings with film. The tones and the colors are perfect. Everything about it makes me so blissfully happy I hope you guys enjoy the photos as much as I do
