Sneak Peek: Barbara and Antiwon • Married!

Monday, July 18th, 2011

I am officially obsessed with the Eiffel Society. It is officially one of the coolest wedding venues I’ve been to in New Orleans. It’s so funky and there are all of these different shaped light bulbs everywhere… of course I was obsessed. Anyway, here is Barbara and Antiwon’s sneak peek!!! More LIGHT BULBS!

Sneak Peek: Elizabeth and Jared • Married!

Sunday, May 22nd, 2011

This photo is not only the reason that I shoot film, it’s the reason that I am such a huge supporter of the Impossible Project :) This was taken using their newest color film (PX680 Color Shade First Flush) using my SX-70 Alpha One! This photograph reminds me so much of a classic painting, and that is what these little images sort of are. When you shoot a digital RAW file, that image can be copied and shared a million and a half times. With a Polaroid, even though you can create scans of it, there will always only be one original. A unique and beautiful image. It’s why they’re so special. Anyway, this is the sneak peek from Elizabeth and Jared’s wedding today at the Degas House! I shot so much film I can’t wait to show you guys all of them!

Sneak Peek: Cassie and Sean • Married!

Saturday, May 14th, 2011

I like making photographs glow :) Unfortunately, I can’t pocket the sun and bring it with me to my indoor weddings, but with a little extra effort I can get pretty close! Here is a sneak peek from Cassie and Sean’s wedding at Latrobe’s yesterday. I’m in love with Cassie’s dress… Oscar De La Renta!

Sneak Peek: Kacy and Nathan • Married!

Sunday, April 24th, 2011

I can’t even begin to find the words to describe how beautiful Kacy and Nathan’s wedding was today. They got married at City Park under an oak tree that was decorated with white ribbons. My heart melted at the mason jars of flowers, the wedding sign, the lavender, and so much more. I was so lucky that I got to spend an hour and a half with them before their wedding taking photographs in the secret parts of City Park that no one goes to. This photograph is one of my favourite wedding photos I’ve ever taken. My heart melts every time I look at it :) It was taken on my Polaroid Spectra pro with expired Polaroid Film!
