Sometimes I meet with a bride and we just click. It’s as if we’ve known each other since kindergarten and we just GET each other completely. Julia is TOTALLY one of those brides. I absolutely ADORE her… she never stops smiling and is just full of happiness and awesomeness (yes that is a word… maybe). And then I met James (Julia’s new Husband!), who is equally as awesome and matches her perfectly. Plus, anyone who has a day of the dead bride and groom at their cake table is super mega awesome in my book. Here is their sneak peek!!! I LOVE YOU GUYS!!

I LOVE it when my couples want to take fun photographs with their bridal party

This photo is not only the reason that I shoot film, it’s the reason that I am such a huge supporter of the Impossible Project 
This was taken using their newest color film (PX680 Color Shade First Flush) using my SX-70 Alpha One! This photograph reminds me so much of a classic painting, and that is what these little images sort of are. When you shoot a digital RAW file, that image can be copied and shared a million and a half times. With a Polaroid, even though you can create scans of it, there will always only be one original. A unique and beautiful image. It’s why they’re so special. Anyway, this is the sneak peek from Elizabeth and Jared’s wedding today at the Degas House! I shot so much film I can’t wait to show you guys all of them!

Do you guys remember Sarah and Jason from their engagement session last year? Well they just got married on Saturday at the Antique Roseville in New Iberia I decided to have a little fun with some night portraiture and make sure I got a super neat shot of Sarah in her reception dress! I’ve had this photograph floating around in my head for a while, but haven’t found the right place to execute it until now. Seriously, they look like they’re in a dream!!
