Lauren and JD • Engaged!!!

I *just* finished editing Lauren and JD’s engagement session and I just had to share it with you guys!! We took these at City Park which is totally my favourite spot for any type of pictures. I really love it when my couples decide to do an engagement session with me We ALWAYS have so much fun and by the time the wedding comes along, we’re all best buddies Besides, how could you not be comfortable around someone that tells you to nuzzle like a panda bear!!! Here are some of my favourites I can’t wait to photograph their wedding in March!! YAY!

Sneak Peek: Lauren and JD • Engaged!!

I had so much fun at City Park today taking Lauren and JD’s engagement photographs! It was absolutly BEAUTIFUL outside and we just laughed and had fun And oh my, the light was PERFECT! Sneak Peek: Red and Tim • Married!!!!

After this weekend, I can solidly say that I have the coolest brides ever. Literally. Red and Tim got married this afternoon in City Park and Red wore a RED WEDDING DRESS!!!! It was SO BEAUTIFUL on her!!! I was so excited Anyway, here is their sneak peek!! YAY!

Stacy and Jason • Engaged!

I will admit right now to always being slightly nervous before I photography anything. I can’t help it! This time was even worse because not only was I my typical nervous self, I was doing an engagement session for Stacy Reeves who is like, an awesome wedding photographer based in Texas!! See?! Her work is awesome! So yes, I was terrified. However, within 10 seconds of meeting her and her fiance Jason all of my terrifiedness (yes I make up words) went away. They are SUCH an awesome and fun couple I can’t even begin to put it in words! They came to New Orleans for a weekend trip and wanted some photographs done so that’s what we did! It kept raining off an on the ENTIRE time, but we had fun anyway We did some shots in the French Quarter and then moved to City Park Enjoy the photographs!

A City Park Wedding • Erika and Chris

I admit to being a bad blogger. I can’t help it! I’ve been so busy with client meetings, contracts, and shoots I hardly have a second to think about my poor little blog. I promise to be better. And to upload all of the photographs from my Canada trip… Oh! And show you guys pictures of my boyfriends birthday cake (thank you to the FANTASTIC Flour Power in Chalmette… seriously guys, order your wedding cakes from them. They are FANTASTIC!).

Anyway, on to photographs! I LOVE intimate weddings… and I LOVE Erika and Chris! Seriously, they are SO much fun and Erika made me laugh every 10 seconds with her crazy awesomess. They were married in City Park on July 10th and the ceremony was held under one of the beautiful bandstands that they have there. The weather was a little grey, but Erika was so, so much fun and nothing in the entire wourld could bother her fantastic spirit. Oh… and how COOL is her dress!!!! Enjoy the photos
