I spent a some time on Sunday testing out the new PZ 680 film from the Impossible Project for my Polaroid Spectra Pro. I LOVE IT SO MUCH! Here is a fun photo of my assistant, Hannah! She’s such a good sport She let me dress her up! Happy Thursday!!!

I love it when my couples agree to go along with my somewhat crazy ideas. Elizabeth and Garrett got married in Covington and had their reception at the ever so awesome St. Tammany Art Association! It is SUCH a cool space! This was taken a couple windows down from the reception in front of a hardware store Yay for Sparklers!

I love the Windsor Court in New Orleans. They have awesome food and the rooms are a really beautiful for getting ready photographs Megan and Philip got married at St. Mary’s Assumption Church and had their reception at the Windsor Court. Megan is one of the sweetest girls I’ve ever met, always completely enthusiastic (like me!!). I always loved reading her emails Anyway, here are some of my favourite film photos. I know I don’t blog full sessions too often, but I made a New Years resolution to blog film photographs when I get them back from the lab Jen and Bobby wanted to take their engagement session in Uptown and then in Audubon Park. We shot half their session on digital then the other half on film I can’t wait to work with Belle Soiree on their wedding in May Here are a few of my favourites! Shot on Kodak Portra film using a Pentax ME Super. There are a couple Holga ones in there too! All processed and scanned by Richard Photo Lab in California!

Kayla and David got married in Baton Rouge and had their reception at the Oak Lodge. Kalya made SO MANY AWESOME THINGS for her wedding!!! It was so beautiful I took this photo right after she put her dress on. Gotta love the light!

We all know that I love elopements. They are one of my favourite things to photograph. Jody and Tony eloped at City Park in New Orleans on the 23rd of December. They had a beautiful ceremony under an oak tree. After the ceremony we walked around City Park and took photographs Here is their sneak peek!!

I *just* finished editing Lauren and JD’s engagement session and I just had to share it with you guys!! We took these at City Park which is totally my favourite spot for any type of pictures. I really love it when my couples decide to do an engagement session with me We ALWAYS have so much fun and by the time the wedding comes along, we’re all best buddies Besides, how could you not be comfortable around someone that tells you to nuzzle like a panda bear!!! Here are some of my favourites I can’t wait to photograph their wedding in March!! YAY!

This is my one of my favorite wedding photographs of all time. Actually my new favourite wedding photograph was taken a few minutes later up on the levy I can’t wait to show you guys!!! But anyway, Kristi is one amazing lady. We met a for the first time a few weeks ago and ended up talking for almost three hours.  THREE HOURS! That’s kind of epic. Plus, all of the details of the wedding were created by Kristi and her  friends and family. And I’ll always love a bride who works with me to plan portraits when the light is perfect Here is their sneak peek! It was taken across the street from Manresa House of Retreats in Convent, Louisiana. There are these beautiful rows of giant oak trees and I about passed out from excitement when I  got there to set up for the formals.
