I have a special place in my heart just for elopements. Seriously, I love them. They make me cry EVERY SINGLE TIME! Like, hard core cry. There is something so brave, wonderful and romantic about it and I get SO excited when someone contacts me and wants me to photograph one! Lisa and Durke’s beautiful ceremony was no exception to my tear rule. Yes, I cried, and then we laughed, walked around the French Quarter and took super fun photographs! When I was looking through their photos this afternoon to choose one for their sneak peek, this one instantly stood out because you can just see how blissfully happy they are to be together.
