I just wanted to write a quick note and let everyone know that I’m going to be out of the country from Thursday July 29th through Sunday August 15th. I will have limited access to my email, but I’ll try to check it and respond every few days
In the mean time, here are some Polaroids that were taken over the past few days on my Spectra Pro. Lots more weddings and engagements to come, but now I must do laundry

I think I’ve somehow managed to fall in love with Audubon Park. I live so close but I hardly ever venture outside, especially since it’s so hot! Anyway, Lauren and Phil wanted to have their engagement photographs taken by the Tree of Life in New Orleans. I of course was super excited as I LOVE old giant oak trees
After we spent some time in the park we then ventured onward towards Magazine Street where we got some super cool photographs by the art store and Bistro Daisy (a cute little restaurant that I’m still dying to try!). I hope you all like the photographs!!! And Lauren and Phil I love you guys!!! Especially for wanting to take pictures with BUBBLES!!

Natalie and Paul were are absolutely adorable. Literally, adorable. We shot these in the French Quarter a few weeks ago. I LOVE the vintage dress she wore during the first part of our session! I don’t spend a lot of time in the French Quarter, so it was almost like an adventure looking for places to shoot
My wonderful assistant Julia gets credit for the awesome idea of going into the chandelier store to take photographs! I am SO looking forward to photographing their wedding in November in Baton Rouge! It’s at a crazy beautiful venue on a Rooftop! Eek! Oh! And watch for the Polaroid and Holga photographs from their session later on this week

I have wanted to photograph something at the Newman Bandstand in Audubon Park for-EVER. I mean, Benjamin Button made it look so romantic and beautiful, the thought made me giddy! Well, today I got the chance thanks to the most wonderful Emily and Ian. I love them. Literally. Love
