Natalie and Paul are SOOOOO sweet!!! We had SO much fun taking engagement pictures in the French Quarter today, even though it was crazy humid and very hot! We were all so scared it was going to just start storming, but we were lucky and it didn’t rain a drop

Weddings like this make me happy Rebekah and Kyle got married in Audubon Park under a giant oak tree… one of the ones that has branches touching the ground! Totally beautiful. They are both such wonderfully laid back and sweet people it was an honor to photograph their wedding! Plus, anyone who is willing to get in a tree for a photograph is super, super awesome! David & Betsy’s wedding was literally impossible to break down into one post… So, there will be two posts This one will have all of the digital photographs and another one will have all of the Polaroids and film photographs I took on my Leica and Holga/Diana. Anyway, the wedding ceremony took place at Huron Boat Basin Amphitheater, in Huron Ohio. The ceremony was at the Milan Historical Museum, which was really, REALLY cool! It was the first time that the Museum had done a wedding there, and I really hope they decide to do more! It was one of the most unique places ever for a wedding reception, and all the little children (and the bride and groom!) had so much fun playing with the giant chess set. It means more than anything to me when bloggers want to feature my photo sessions. I always feel so nervous after I shoot a wedding or an engagement, and I over think myself way too much! After I send my clients a link to their photographs, I refresh my email box like a high school girl waiting for a boy to call. It’s really silly, but I can’t help myself!
