I have to say, I love Brandy and Chris. Seriously. They are the most wonderful, sweet and completely sincere couple ever! They make each other laugh, they make their friends laugh, and they make me laugh! I love their family too

I take way too many random photographs right before the big rush of June weddings. I’m photographing a wedding in Gonzales on May 29th, then on to Ohio for June 5th, and then back to New Orleans for June 13th… and that’s just the start! But until then I’ve been up filling my time by taking random photographs of random things and editing them in random ways. Here are a few of my random photos… I’ve been using my Leica 50/2.0 as a macro lens. I’m crazy in love with the tiny details of the dragonfly wings and the little pink poof flower looks like something from this book. So much fun 
Ok… the Polaroid thing is becoming an obsession for me. Shooting with instant film is so different than anything else. I get to hold this dreamlike little photograph in my hands the second it spits out of my camera. These are a bunch of shots from the past couple days in New Orleans. I can’t wait to include instant photography in the film weddings that I have coming up. My first film wedding of the year is on June 5th in Milan Ohio. I love when my couples ask me to shoot film for their weddings and engagements… it makes me happy that I’m not the only one who loves the look of film!
It came!!! I’ve been waiting for this little camera for ages, and I love it. Seriously. It’s my new favourite thing. It’s in beautiful condition and the case is so cute! Thank you Craigslist and people kind enough to mail things to me
I almost didn’t bring any Polaroid film with me this weekend… it’s such a new area of photography for me that I was slightly terrified of doing something wrong. I decided at the last second to throw a package and my camera in my bag and I’m ever so glad I did… I only shot film on the beach because I didn’t want to get sand or water in my digital camera!
